The first thing you need to do is click the “Join” button on the expedition page that interests you. Through that link, you will be able to access a form that you must fill out so we can review your application.

We put a lot of care into each of our itineraries with the idea of providing immersive experiences in small groups. We are aware that the activities we offer are not for everyone, so we need to get to know you a little more before accepting you into the expedition. This way, we can ensure that everyone will have a great time during the expedition and that there is a match between your expectations and the experiences we will offer.

Once you send us the form, we will respond as soon as possible -ideally, within 48 hours- but please note that sometimes we are in remote locations with limited internet access, so you may need to be a little patient.

If your form is not accepted, we will also notify you by email.

Once you have been accepted into the expedition, you will receive an email explaining how to make the reservation payment, so you can confirm your spot.

The reservation price varies depending on the expedition. You will receive the specific price and the account details where you need to make the payment in the email. From the moment you receive this email, you have 72 hours to make the reservation payment. If you need more time to make the payment, that’s fine! But please note that we won’t be able to hold your spot, and it will become available to others. The coordinator will contact you to explain how to make the final payment, which will be done once the expedition is approaching.

If you want to make the payment for your reservation and more than 72 hours have passed since you were accepted, let us know by email, and we will inform you whether spaces are still available. Once you’ve been accepted into an expedition, you don’t need to fill out the form again to make the reservation payment.

If your booking form has been accepted, congratulations! You can now join this expedition :) We will send you an email explaining how to reserve your spot. After making the reservation, we will add you to a private WhatsApp group with the rest of the participants. This way, you can meet the other people you'll be sharing the expedition with, and we can provide advice on the preparations.

The price of our expeditions does not include international flights. Once you are accepted into the expedition, we can advise you on the best flight combinations or coordinate with you in the WhatsApp group to align your journey with the rest of the participants.

If the destination we are traveling to requires a visa or mandatory vaccinations, we can also advise you on the procedures to follow, although it will be your responsibility to complete the necessary arrangements.

Everyone is free to decide when to arrive and leave the country, as long as they are in the arrival city on the day indicated in the itinerary and leave the country on or after the designated departure day. The important thing is that you are in the country on the specified days.

Accommodation and meal expenses for the days not included in the itinerary will be at your own expense.

If you finally cannot come, the deposit for your reservation will not be refunded under any circumstances (as it is used for making bookings and covering the management costs of our team).

In exceptional cases, you may transfer your reservation to a third party as long as you notify us more than 20 days before the start date of the expedition, and provided there is a substitute willing to take your spot.

All our expeditions include the basic insurance of IATI Seguros.

Our expedition leaders and local guides speak Spanish and/or English.

No, no previous experience is required, just a love for travel and a lot of enthusiasm to have fun. If any of the activities we will be doing require a certain level of physical fitness - for example, in the case of trekking - we will indicate this in the itinerary.

To travel with us, you must be of legal age (18 years old). Minors can only join if accompanied by a legal guardian.

In general, yes. However, depending on the destination, your diet may be limited to a few options. Contact us if you have any questions about this.

Of course! Most travelers come on their own, so this is a perfect opportunity to meet new people.

We strive to move away from the reference frameworks proposed by traditional tourism to better integrate ourselves and learn about the way of life of the communities we visit. For this reason, on some of our expeditions, we will travel in 4x4 vehicles, sleep in tents, and access to certain facilities (such as Wi-Fi, phone coverage, showers, or bathrooms) will be limited.

Additionally, we must be prepared to face unexpected circumstances, such as slight changes in the itinerary or poor road conditions. These small inconveniences are the price to pay for privileged access to unique places. You don’t need experience in adventure activities, but you must have a strong desire to experience authentic cultural immersion in a remote location, which will often push you out of your comfort zone. The rooms included in the expedition are shared. This means you will sleep with another person (or people) in your room or tent. If you are traveling with a friend or partner, we can arrange for you to sleep together; otherwise, you will be assigned a shared room with another person from the group.

If you prefer a single room or tent, it is possible for an additional fee. Contact us so we can arrange it.
