Our philosophy begins with seeing travel as an opportunity to immerse ourselves in local culture and understand, without prejudice, other ways of living.

In a world where the traditions and customs of hundreds of tribal societies are on the brink of disappearing, we believe it is necessary to focus on the value of cultural diversity.

This is how Tierra Ignota was born, a tourism initiative that organizes immersive expeditions to remote places, aimed at small groups of adventurers eager to discover minority societies and ancestral ceremonies.

INTERACTION WITH COMMUNITIES

Our priority is that interactions with the communities we visit take place with respect.

For this reason, at the beginning of each expedition we provide a series of guidelines and rules of conduct that ensure our impact aligns with the values we promote.

We are committed
to understanding and appreciate the worldviews of these unique societies from an ethical, non-extractive perspective.

who we are

When we were little, we used to fantasize about being able to visit the places we saw in documentaries and travel magazines. However, understanding how people got to these places was a mystery.

That desire grew stronger over time, and each of us, on our own, began to live adventures around the world until we gained the experience, local contacts, and knowledge needed to finally reach those communities we had dreamed of.

Several years later we met, and decided to join forces to create a joint project that would allow us to bring along other curious minds who, perhaps, also watched those same travel documentaries, without knowing how they could get to those places.
